Hello, I am looking to get a 240hz or 144hz monitor for gaming and work..

And I do not know what hdmi  port version I have on my laptop (HP Pavilion 15 ec 200 ec2000 2P6B5AV). I was unable to find a datasheet or specsheet that said what hdmi port version I had.. Can anyone help? I want to get a monitor but I dont know if my laptop will support 144hz or 240hz.
