I just recently installed a Samsung PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD drive on my Pavilion 24 R-014 computer. The drive is recognized by the computer and I'm able to use the drive. I am currently trying to boot my windows 10 from the M.2 SSD drive to speed up boot time. I've read many articles about how to change the boot order, but I'm still confused if I'm booting from the original drive or the new M.2 drive. What is suppose to look like? I've attached a photo shot of my Boot options.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you have installed a Samsung PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD drive into your HP Pavilion 24-r014 All-in-One Desktop PC and would like to know if the PC is booting using the M.2 drive. I'll surely assist you with this.
Also, thank you for sharing the picture of the BIOS. The image shows that the Samsung SSD is the first boot device in the list. Normally the PC will look for the operating system from the first boot device and if it cannot find it there then will search in the next device in the list.
I hope this helps. Keep me posted for any further queries. Cheers! 🙂

Hi,
When you say you installed the SSD, did you install Windows 10 on it ? What media did you use? (HP recovery disks or pendrive with Windows 10 on it)
Can you go into disk manager (right-click on start and click on disk management) and post a picture of the Windows here.
Let me know,
David
