When I tried to pair my new bluetooth keyboard to the Envy x2, the laptop generated a passcode but unfortunately i didn't save it, now the laptop is asking me for the passcode each time i tried to pair, pls how do i generate a new passcode? I had gone to Device Manager to uninstall the keyboard and re-do it but still the new passcode is not showing, the laptop is still asking i enter the passcode i believe initially generated. Please help.

The bluetooth keyboard will provide the pairing code
Go to Bluetooth and remove the connection that was there.
Add new connection and turn on the bluetooth keyboard. No follow the onscreen instruction to pair it.

Thank you Erico for your response. The keyboard was never paired so the only items that shows under the Bluetooth are the ones that are ready to pair, including my new keyboard and non of them can be removed. When I click on Pair, it only bring a space to input the passcode I don't have.

Thank you all. I have been able to resolve the issue by removing and re-installing the entire Bluetooth software on my pc and then following the un-screen guideline.
The problem I am facing now is the touchpad not working, can anyone help out pls.

HI @kaykola
Now would be the time to start a new thread about your notebook and the touchpad issue. Be sure to include the product name/number in that thread as well.
