HP 17-by3063st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How do I remove the battery from an HP 17-by3063st (model 9W83UA or 9VV83U - can't tell whether W or VV)? It doesn't have the slide release button as on previous laptops.

Hi:

HP does not appear to have a service manual out for your notebook's model series yet.

I believe that the battery is internal.

Here is the link to the service manual for the older 17-by1000 model series, and chapter 6 has the procedure to remove the battery.
