I have a hp laptop model 14-bs057sa and I only use it for basic stuff like surfing on the internet and general work stuff. Loading the computer is so slow and general use day to day is unbelievably slow. Iv tried deleting everything I can that I don’t need but it just isn’t cutting the mustard. What can I do to speed it up? I’m not very good with tech but can I put a new processor in or maybe download something
thanks in advance

Let's start with the questions at the end -- and the answer to both of them is NO. You can't change the processors and despite advertising you might see, you can not really speed up a laptop using software.
Since you already have 4GB of system memory, adding memory is wasting your money.
The best way to improve the overall performance, if the laptop has a hard drive (HDD) is to replace that with a Solid State Drive (SSD) of the same capacity. I've done that in several older laptops and the performance gain is nothing short of amazing. But ... I just looked up the specs on your 14-bs057sa model and they say it has a 120GB SSD already -- and there is no way to speed that up.
I also noticed it has a Celeron processor -- and that is an entry-level processor -- about the slowest out there. So, that might be the problem with the laptop running slow -- and that can not be replaced.
So basically, you're stuck with what you have.
