How do I use the HP Pen with MS Word on my HP Spectre laptop.

I have never used the HP Pen that came with my HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-df0xxx laptop. I am trying to use it now to sign my name to a document in MS Word, but I cant figure out how to turn it on/use it.
Please help!

That shows me how to use "inking" in Word using my finger on the touchscreen, but I still am looking how to use the HP Pen that came with my HP Spectre laptop. Right now it might as well be a brick. Can't even find how to turn the thing on or how it works with the Spectre laptop.
