V5060H Camcorder

Hi! First of all i know the board is oviously wrong, but i didnt know what else to choose (am i even in the right place to ask?). This is not a problem i have with the camcorder, its more like a question: how do i use the flash for the camera mode?. Really, ive had this question since i bought the camera more than 6 years ago. Ive looked around the menu thousands of times looking for an option related to the camera flash with no success. I really wanna know how to enable it, the manual states the camcorder has a flash for the camera mode and i can even see it on top of the lens. But how do i use it? I dont know if its even connected to the camera, or if it is something else (oviously is a camera flash but who knows). Ill apreciate any suggestion, but remeber ive lived without the camera flash for more than 6 years, i just wanna know how to enable the darn thing for once (if i can enable it i hope the flash capacitor will still take charge after all this years).  Thank you.

Hi

An SD card may also be referred to as "Flash" but this is more what you mean...

User Guide Page 6   2.6 Buttons and Functions,

4-Way Direction Button.
Press  the  4-Way  Direction  Button
UP  to  turn  on/off the flash light:   off, auto, fill-in

; press DOWN to delete the file when it’s in Playback mode.

Not that it makes any sense to me.

Thanks a lot man! It works! I feel a little stupid right now, how didnt i ever try the up button on camera mode? Anyway,  there are probably more guys like me that dont know how to activate the camera flash. Hope this thread is useful to them too.  Now i can take pictures in the dark, not that i ever do that, but hey, its something extra i guess.

Thank you a lot and have a nice day!

You may be wondering: is this guy an idiot or what? he had the answer to his problem on the freacking manual, why didnt he read the manual before asking? And i have my reasons for that. I did take a look at the manual several times before asking here, but i couldnt find anything related to how to activate the camera flash. I took a look at the section where it explains how to take pictures, but who would have thought the flash information was actually on the buttons and functions section? Hp, should have also added the flash usage information on the ``how to take pictures section´´. Just a suggestion, nothing else.
