What is your HP 15-bs0xx ? Most likely it has the following video port
HDMI version 1.4b supporting 1920 ×1080 @ 60Hz
Monitor has native 2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz and it has Display port, dual-link DVI-D.
Your machine has USB 3.0 (2 ports; left side) therefore you need an adapter for example
