I opened a service ticket (or "Case" in HP lingo) on 1/30/23.
I have not received a response other then the acknowledgement that the case was opened.
Should I continue to wait or should I open a new ticket?
It's regarding warranty coverage.
Kindest regards,
Rock

Hi @Rockit55,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Could you provide me with the product number of your HP Unit? Use this link to find it: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Hello Alden4,
This is one of the lower end bargain units: 15-ef1072wm
The warranty said "expired" when I received the unit and registered it.
I have all of the purchase documents and was trying to find out how long it was truly under warranty.
Not a big deal, but I say that when I am not having issues.
Thanks for your assistance!

So I guess I can answer my own question now.......
I opened the ticket on 1/30/23.
The case was closed on 3/27/23
So, a total of 56 days is the answer.
Before the close date, I didn't hear ANYTHING from HP. Total silence....crickets! I had really given up hope.
However, I was very surprised and excited to see they had resolved my issue regarding a warranty expiration in my favor.
That is what the email says anyway.
However, it still says "warranty expired" on my Support Dashboard.
I will check back in another 2 months to see if that has changed.
