Hi,

How many M.2 SSD Slots in Victus 16-S1010NT (9Z790EA)??

This is what it says on the datasheet;

Information Storage
1TB PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ M.2 SSD
1TB PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ Performance M.2 SSD

And why does the S1010NT model appear this way on the support page, even though I entered my information correctly?

Thank you in advance for your support.

HP specs for your model series don't indicate your notebook supports the dual storage.

This HP video for 16-s000 model series shows only one M.2 slot.

The hardware components layout of the motherboard for 16-s1000 should be basically same as for 16-s0000, so your model comes with one M.2 slot.

Hp only provides the service manual for 16-s0000, which shows two M.2 slots on page 41. Perhaps, HP customer service is getting information from this manual, but it's the wrong info, as the forementioned HP video shows only one M.2 slot.

If you are still not convinced, you may open the notebook, but if you damage something, the warranty can be voided.

@illegallgun,

Your model has one M.2 slot.

The data sheet you referred to actually indicates HP provides up to 1 TB NVMe SSDs in 16-s1000 models.

Basically, M.2 NVMe SSDs have no capacity limit. You can install up to 4 TB NVMe drive.

I don't know how you got the screen shown at the bottom of your post, but this is your HP support home page.

I am currently talking to HP Support via Whatsapp. They told me that my product has 2 M.2 SSD slots. I guess I won't know unless I open it. If I do, will it void the warranty?
