Hello @Pugazh_R,
Your system uses DDR4-2400 RAM and has 2 slots available in total.
While HP and Crucial say the max is 16GB of DDR4-2666, it is widely accepted across the forum that DDR4 machines will take up to 32GB.
So you can have max 2 * 16GB.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind regards,
Eddy

Hi,
Yes you can upgrade to 16GB without any problem. At the moment you have one stick of 8GB of RAM and one empty slot. So you can add another 8GB of DDRR4 2400Mhz in the empty slot. You can choose your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...
On page 2 of service manual you can see that 16GB of DDR4 2400Mhz is the max (2x8GB). However as stated also above by @EddyK HP DDR4 systems will run with 32GB of RAM (2x16GB)

On page 50 of service manual you can see the steps to replace RAM.
Hope it helps,
David
