Im looking to get more RAM (8gb), ive gone to the maintenance and service guide> memory (page 43), but i cant see anywhere that says i have more than 1 RAM slot, it does however have a description box under the title 'Memory' and it states Memory Module 8GB....*part number* and under that Memory Module 4GB... *part number*. Is that telling me i have 2 RAM slots or not? how do i find what im looking for without opening the back?

Hi,
Your HP Notebook 15-da0596sa is equipped with 2 RAM slots, so you can add an 8 GB memory module (RAM) to it without any problem.
If you want cheap memory modules, I can offer you Crucial.

Hello, if you read page 2 of your maintenance manual, models with Intel Core processor have 2 memory slots and models with Pentium and Celeron processors have only one slot.
I see here you have a Core i5 processor so you need to have 2 slots:
