I am trying to find out how many pins my ram has as i have tried multiple website to allocate my laptops specs. Is it possible to know my how much ram can be installed and what type of ram it uses along with its pins amounts?
My system - Intel core 15 8th gen
4gb ram
1Tb HDD
Intel UHD 620 Graphics card.

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.
https://uk.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-bs161na
You can install 2 x 8 GB of memory in your model.
From the list of memory kits offered, you would want one of the DDR4-2400 MHz kits, because that is the fastest speed the processor your notebook has can run the memory at.

Hi:
The pin count is the least important specification you need to know about the memory.
Your notebook uses DDR4 notebook memory, and all DDR4 notebook memory will have the same number of pins.
Please post the product number of your notebook.
Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.
