Hi Support team,

The max is in fact 32 gigs DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM in two 16 gig modules.

Your Service Manual

Memory modules under shield in green boxMemory modules under shield in green box

Start on p. 33 to remove the rear cover and the above image is a representation of what you see.

2 of these would work fine:

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I need a clarification before I purchase the RAM. In your document, on page 10, its mentioned like "non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable " and "Supports up to 12-GB of system memory". Is this means I can not upgrade more than 12gigs ? And it's nowhere mentioned maximum supported Memory on this model specifications page.

It's mentioned as  below. Could you confirm me again whether it's possible to upgrade?

Memory, standard
12 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB)

I did just confirm. I know what the Manual say. There will be no official acknowledgement but the Experts here who track this kind of thing know from experience and feedback she will run 32 gigs. And I told you just how to do it. Up to you, friend.

Hi Friend,

After your assurance, I immediately went to Ritchie street (a famous place in Chennai for buying all electronics items) and brought two 16GB Crucial RAM (Rs. 4500 each) with 3 years warranty and installed the RAMs there itself. I was happy and surprised, it's working as you advised. Thanks a lot for your confirmations and solutions. Please refer screenshot.

I have exaggerated about Ritchie street and warranty and all in post. This may help to somebody to have an idea about the same.

Good for you. We try to avoid contradicting the Manuals but in this case we are very confident in our advice. Enjoy.
