Hi,
I recently decided to upgrad my laptop with 16GB of RAM (2x8GB), when I opened it there was just one slot with 4GB RAM. CPU-Z in tab SPD shows 2 slots. Should I look on the other side of the motherboard or my laptop have just one slot for RAM, and if so can I put a single 16GB memory? Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

No you have the Celeron N3050 processor which explains why you have only one memory slot, which you have found. The motherboard has the electronic tracings to add a second slot but the actual slot hardware is not there. So CPU-Z or the like shows 2 slots but physically there is only one and then the outlines in gold tracing for a second one. Max single module size is 8 gigs so do not buy a 16 gig module.

From the manual:
One non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slot (Intel Pentium and Celeron processors)

Hello Niccolo,
I only see that your computer supports up to 8GB of memory.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653884 that is your manual which lets your know in what configurations you can have your memory.
Here is another good tool, http://h20574.www2.hp.com/results.htm?SID=7771404&MEID=CF9496C3-F4CE-4C61-AF9B-DDB805BA498A, it will give you a step by step video on where your memory modules are. It looks like you can put two in t here.
Hope this helps!
