HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey0000 (54J84AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My Laptop came with 12 gig of Ram using AMD Ryzen 7 Chip . I would like to upgrade to at least 16 gig of Ram and  but would prefer even 32 gig of RAM better. What actual Ram do I consider for both upgrades ?  I have seen DD4 266 pins 3200 but there are quite a few choices with different specs. I would want the fastest I can get and  very good brand like for example Ripjaws or similar..   How much Ram can I go up to  ? IF I used command prompt it looks like I can go up to 64  for in Kilobytes it gives me 67108864 .  Now are my RAMS Soldered or just Slots ?  To note my Product is HP 360 Envy 15-ey00023DX  laptop..... HELP !!

Your machine is one of the following specs

           https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-x360-15.6-inch-2-in-1-laptop-pc-15-ey0000/2101086013/mo...

which says it supports 16GB max.

It has 12GB (8GB+4GB). To get fully compatible and benefit of dual channel, you can replac4GB using SAME as existing 8GB.

The following tool will tell you what it is
