Hello,

Im trying to add more storage to my HP Stream 11.  I'm thinking of using a USB external storage. Could I please get an answer as to the maximum external storage my laptop can take?

Hello
there is practically no limit for an external hdd
but prefer to use several hdd of smaller capacity than one
in case of problem less data is lost

@Omanee

You didn't tell us WHY you want to do this.

If your reason for adding storage is to hold personal files, then @Prométhée is correct as there is no real practical limit to the space you can add.

But if your reason is to add room to do Windows Updates or to install more apps or games, that will not work and will be a waste of money.
