Hi,
How much memory/RAM can I put into my HP Pavillion dv5-1176er when running 64-bit Windows 7?
Only ddr2?
aida64 says ddr3 is also possible...

Your notebook only supports a maximum of 4GB installed memory.
It supports only PC2-6400, 800-MHz, DDR2 memory.
DDR3 memory will not physically fit.
Don't believe AIDA if it is showing that it will fit.
