Is it possible to install 2 x 8GB PC3-10600 DDR3=1333MHZ SODIMM for 16GB total?

Thanks, was just asking because a thread, probably a hundred years ago, from Tikkanen mentioned 2x8 possible for an Intel machine and something about there were no 8GB modules when it was first made.  Maybe it was a newer model or something.  Couldn't find any specs on HP website but Crucial had a little app that looked at the machine and said 8 max.  Didn't know if that was just what the original HP spec said.

 

16 would be a good shot but is it worth increasing the ram from 4 to 8?  Will it make a significant difference?  Use it mostly for NetFlix, Word, email and some light graphics/photos on CorelDraw/Photo-Paint.
