Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z6AV)

I am curious about the power output of my USB port because I am looking to buy a docking station but not sure if my laptop will output enough power for it.

The question is in the title.

Hi @NokSom,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

The HP Sleep and Charge port on the Victus by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z6AV) typically provides power output to connected devices even when the laptop is in sleep mode.

However, the exact power output can vary:

  • Standard USB-A ports: These typically output 5V at 0.5A (2.5W) or 5V at 0.9A (4.5W), depending on the port's specification.
  • USB-C ports: If your laptop includes a USB-C port with Power Delivery (PD) support, it can potentially provide higher power output, commonly up to 15W (5V at 3A) or even higher, depending on the specific implementation.

To be certain about the power output of the USB ports on your specific model, you can check the user manual or specifications, This will help ensure that the docking station you're considering is compatible with your laptop's power output capabilities. Click here for more details.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
