I want to enable advanced BIOS settings to unlock features like SmartShift. My BIOS seems locked, and I need safe methods or tools to modify it. I’ve explored tools like RU.EFI but need guidance on implementation and risks.

You are mistaken in believing that there are advanced features of the BIOS that are hidden to you.

 

You have a manufactured laptop  PC product which has a BIOS that as part of its design is meant to protect owners from themselves.

 

You will not find guidance on how to modify the BIOS here in the HP Community forum.
