HP Spectre x360 - 15-bl075nr

Hi there,
two days ago I dropped my HP  Spectre 700 rechargeable mouse. Since then the mouse wheel has not been working properly. It seems to be a little loose. My idea was to open up the mouse and see if I can see what part is damaged. Sadly I don't really know how to best open up the mouse to see it's internals. Can someone give me a clue as to how I can open the mouse to get to the mouse wheel? I assume, due to the clamschell design, that the left and right side of the mouse somehow pop off to reveal the inside... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Alikhawaja47,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Spectre mouse.

Unfortunately, there is no option to open any mouse and can only be replaced based on your warranty.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

Hello!
Actually, there are 4 screws you need to open. They are hidden behind the adhesive paper.

I hope this helps you fix your mouse.
