Hi @Rcee6699,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

You can disable the "HP recommends using an original AC adapter" message by disabling or uninstalling the HP System Event Utility that triggers the notification.

Here’s how you can manage or disable this utility:

1. Disable the HP System Event Utility from Startup

You can prevent the utility from running at startup:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. Click on the Startup tab.
  3. Look for HP System Event Utility or any similar HP service.
  4. Right-click and select Disable.
  5. Restart your computer.

2. Uninstall the HP System Event Utility

If you don't use other HP system functions, you can completely remove the utility:

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & features).
  3. Scroll down or search for HP System Event Utility.
  4. Select it and click Uninstall.
  5. Follow the prompts to uninstall the software.

3. Disable Notifications for HP System Event Utility

If you want to keep the utility but stop seeing notifications:

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to System > Notifications.
  3. Scroll down to find HP System Event Utility.
  4. Toggle off notifications from this app.

I hope this helps.
