HP laptop 15-dw1xxxx series (3V2D6EA#UUW)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I looking at installing a hard drive (2,5" SATA SSD) in my HP Laptop 15-dw1xxxx series PC.

There's space for a hard drive.

No SATA connector.

No serial cable connecting to FPR socket (there two available FRP1 and FRP2).

Have I got this right?

Can I install the missing socket and cable (provided I'm able to buy these items online) just like that. And be able to just plug in a SSD and I'm good to go?

Or would there be need for further setup / configuration?

Have attached an image for info.HD.png
