Hello, my
HP Notebook - 17-bs011dx came with 8 GB installed ram, would like to add another 8 GB ram. Any video's on taking back off laptop to install ram? Would like to change out 1TB hard drive for a SSD but that another story but wan't to do it at same time so I'm not taking laptop apart multiple times. Thanks

I don't know is there any video around because HP has thousands of different models/products. But the following manual will show you many things for your machine including how to open and shut your machine

Thank you for your response. It's always tricky removing the back cover so your help is greatly appreciated! To remove the back cover I have seen tricks using guitar pick to help release the cover without breaking any fasteners or componetes. What do you think about this?
