Recently, whenever I'm using my laptop for programming or for gaming, I noticed that the temperature is really high, so I checked the Omen Command Center and it showed that my CPU is 95 Celsius and sometimes it even reaches 99. I did some research and they say that having high temps can actually cause some damage in the internal parts of the laptop and it also reduces its lifespan.
After some extensive researching, I came across thermal paste which supposedly helps with overheating problems. But I don't know how to put thermal paste and if I should also change the thermal pads.

I understand that you would like to know how to apply the thermal paste.
HP Will does not recommend applying the thermal paste.
As you have stated that the temperatures reach 95 degrees, I would suggest you contact our phone support.
They will help you.
