Hi everyone!
The keyboard backlighting automatically switches off after about 30 seconds. I want to turn this off. How do I do that? I've googled it and I found out you can change it under the "Advanced" Tab in BIOS but that tab is missing. So how do I make that show up if I cant change the keyboard backlight delay in other ways?
Hope you all have a good weekend cheers 🙂

Hi,
Are you entering BIOS by pressing ESC at startup and then F10 to enter BIOS
Is this what your BIOS looks like?

Under TAB Configuration you can see keyboard Backlight Timeout where you can change the delay or choose never.
Hope it helps,
David

Well, I do not really know what you can do then, I guess you could try updating BIOS to latest version and see if that changes anything in the options.
Let me know,

I have the same problem. I can't believe HP "forgot" about this setting...
And why would you turn of the backlight if the laptop is in the charger? It could make sense when on battery, but even then it should be configurable. Very bad for a very expensive laptop imho...
