Hi, it's time to give my laptop a good clean of the vents and keyboard. I don't think the fans themselves have to be cleaned but in any case I would rather not dissemble the product. I haven't found model-specific guides and am afraid of doing more harm than good, or causing any accidental damage. What is the best way to do a thorough cleaning? Many thanks!

Overall chassis and screen cleaning I use a lintless cloth like an old white tshirt wetted but wrung out and with a very light solution of dishwashing liquid like Dawn. Should not drip as you wipe down the casing. For stubborn grease type stains use rubbing alcohol again barely wetted on the rag. For the keyboard and vents use rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Work between the keys and vent slats. Again, no dripping. Follow up with a good surface cleaning, and dry. Blow out vents with a can of air and stick in a paperclip to hold fan blades from spinning. Let it sit for an hour before using.
