Hello,
I want to copy pdf files to my hp DVD-R 16x 4.7 GB data in DVD RW drive E? How can i do it? I used Cyberlink Power2Go burning software to burn the data (PDF, HTML, and other files ) to disc. But the burning to the disc was unsuccessful. Shall i use DVD-RW or CD-R or CD-RW?

First off, you can't simply copy files to optical media because you can not format them to have a filesystem on them like a disk drive. Instead, you have to group a set of files into a "session" and then burn that session to the disk. Once that is done, you should then be able to open the disk but you might only be able to see the files in the last session you burned.
Second, the specific media does not matter. CD and DVD will work the same, they just have different capacities. As to "R" vs "RW", the first will allow burning only one session, the second will allow burning session after session until the drive is full. and it makes the disk reusable because you can remove the sessions and start over.
I don't use Cyberlink but use Nero instead. But you can look for CDBurnerXP -- which is freeware which, despite the name, works OK on Windows 10.
