Hello,

I need to replace some damaged key caps on my HP Pavilion laptop, Model # 15t-er100.  Since HP doesn't sell individual key caps, but wants you to spend a small fortune to replace the whole keyboard, I was looking for another source from which to purchase key caps.  However, at the website from which I'm trying to order them, https://www.laptopkeyreplacements.com/hp-pavilion-15t-series-laptop-key-replacement/, as I try to place the online order, the form is asking me if the keys are HC16, HC46, or HC56.   I sent an email to this website 2 days ago asking them how one discerns this number, but no one has gotten back to me yet.  Does anyone know how to determine this?

Thanks,

Gigi

No.

We do not have the means to identify keys by a part number.

Perhaps if you take a close look at the underside of the key, you might see a designation.

If  laptopkeyreplacement.com doesn't know, you may be out of luck.

You might have to keep pushing them for a reply.

If they want your business, they will help you.
