Hi,

 

How to disassemble the HP ENVY laptop 17-k230no?

 

I have removed the hidden screws under the corner taps and the one under the middle clue tap and as well as all other visible screws. I am having trouble getting the optical driver out. How can I get the optical drive out? I have already removed the screw that is marked for the optical drive, but I can't get the optical drive to be pulled out. 

 

edit. I assumed that I need to take the optical drive out before I can fully disassemble the cover and take the hard drive out?

Below is manual for your model. P.39 describes how to remove an optical drive. P.63 shows how to remove a hard drive.
