How to download the latest driver version for Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter?

Hello.

I'm confuse about which driver to download for my laptop. (HP Notebook - 15-ay100 CTO)

I see the list of drivers under Driver-Network but I'm not sure which one to download. 

The current version for my Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter is "2024.0.4.208"

Can it be updated or do I have the latest version already?

If you can point me to the right direction and an explanation it'll be helpful.

Yes, that is the version I have.

So I won't be able to update that version into something else?

Unfortunately, not.

This is the latest driver package for that model wifi adapter and it will install the same version.

Feel free to try it out if you want.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I can't because for some reason HP removed it from the PC's support page I got the driver from.

They used to have 7 drivers listed under the Networking section and now there are only 6, with the latest Realtek wifi driver being sp121426, which is older than the one I gave you from the HP ftp site.
