Pavilion gaming Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, my notebook (Pavilion Gaming Notebook) has an intel i7-6700HQ.

I have enabled virtualization in the bios.

However, when I run the INtel Hardware Execution Manager Setup .exe it says 'This computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x).'

What else do I have to do to enable this on my computer?

Thanks.

Hi, for anyone else, I've found the solution.

In control panel - turn windows features on or off, I had to disable Hyper-V as it stops any other virtualization working.

Greetings @alan32,

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to enable Intel Virtualization Technology on your notebook. I would like to provide my suggestion.

May I know the product number of your notebook?

Have you checked if your notebook meets the requirements of Intel Virtualization Technology?

Recommend you to refer to this article from Intel for assistance.
