HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0002nt
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I am using HP Pavilion gaming computer - 15-DK0002NT laptop. I am thinking of buying an SSD but I do not know if there is a slot in the PC. There is a Samsung brand SSD in the laptop. Which brand do you recommend? I will also buy RAM. I do not understand the technical part very well but I am trying to understand as much as I can. Can I install any SSD if I buy it? I would be glad if you help me. Thank you in advance. WhatsApp Görsel 2024-10-15 saat 23.39.34_698cdc4b.jpg

You can see from its manual

             http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664.pdf

Which shows on pages 1-2 it supports dual storage with M.2 NVMe SSD + 2.5" HDD.

It has 256GB of Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD now. You can

(a) Add 1TB or 2TB of 2.5" HDD or SSD to your machine or

(b) Replace its 256GB with 1TB or 2TB M.2 SSD using drives from Samsung or other vendors

Normally people do (a), very quick and cheap you can do both (a) and (b)

Regards.
