My laptop battery is not working it's always on 95% and charging  but when I unplug the AC adapter, the PC goes off instantly.

The cooling fan is also not working.

Please if It can be fixed Pls help me fix it.  Especially the battery.

Welcome to the HP Forums,

We'll be with you until it's all sorted & beyond!

Are you getting any error message for the fan? Is it making any noise? how do you know it isn't working? as it's not designed to run at all times: Click here to troubleshoot fan issues.

Have you attempted to run a hardware test on the battery to identify the issue?

Click here to perform the tests, if you haven't done it yet.

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

Check if it works with an alternate power cord or adapter, and also on another working wall outlet,

If the issue doesn't occur on an alternate adapter/cord, you can get the existing adapter replaced,

However, if the issue persists and the hardware tests fail, please refer to my private message for further assistance:

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, using the blue envelope:

Let me know how that pans out

I will have a colleague follow-up on this to ensure it's taken care off, in case you don't respond in the next 24-48hrs,

As I need to know if the issue has been resolved, to get proper sleep at night.

Feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon,

Followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge and have a great day Ahead!
