HP Pavilion Gaming 15-cx0005nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just bought laptop with NVMe SSD  and i wish to add second SSD on SATA. Unfortunately when i opened laptops cover I discovered that there are no SATA connector,  just only empty space for hard disk. In the "HP maintenance and service guide" I have found that I miss these parts:
- Hard drive bracket L20325-001,
- Hard drive cable L20324-001.

When I tried to buy theme on HP web page there is only option to ship parts on United Kingdom territory. I didn't found these parts on ebay, aliexpress or polish sites. How can I aquire missing parts?
If I would know earlier I would bought laptop with HDD and then buy additional NVMe disk.

Thank you David.

Unfortunately there is no option to choose country Poland at web site you provide.

I have found this parts on www.convena.com but they are little bit pricey with shipping costs.

Still looking for alternative.

Thanks again. You helped me a lot. My internet browser every time forwarded me to english version of HP website. I feel silly
At last I managed to order these parts.

I have one off topic question. When I opened laptops cover I notice that there are missing couple screws on PCB. Is it normal?

I marked those places on attached photos.

Sorry for my english.

Hi,

Yes, it is quite normal for not all "holes" to be filled with screws. Usually if a screw should be present you will see a small arrow (or triangle) next to the hole. Anyway, I believe some of those holes are where the screws from the base cover you removed go.

Hope it helps,

David

You are right, two upper holes which I circled probably are from base cover. I didn't knew about meaning of little arrows or triangles but it is never late to learn. That's all what I wanted to know.

Thanks again.
