How to get started setting up and using my HP for writing

Hi,

             kinda new to all this,don't know all the technical words/computer language. I am learning as I go,hands on thing. I am 43,never had/used a computer/laptop until 2014 then 2018 & really now 2023.  My first book,my mom seen all the emails I sent out,the publishers that wrote back that was very interested in the book but needed it on usb drive to send it too them. Good'ole mom believed in me went against my wishes went out,bought me my first HP headache lol back in 2014 at 34.

             I Crashed it... SETTING IT UP the first day I ever used it or any computer. lol HP had to fix it right from the gate ...(Who does that) Thanks year warranty. But I couldn't figure it out then,got mad... understatement but gave up,put it up. Sighing... I am frustrated I can build, repair make pretty much anything with electronics that I want. (learning programming/coding) little by little as well right now. I could not use or figure out computers...until 2018. I pulled it back out & spent the whole year teaching myself. I taught myself a lot. But then needed a better labtop(s) to operate my 3d printers. I bought, have a HP x360 convertible pavilion 14" and the smaller HP x360 convertible pavilion. I bought them back in 2019. Brand new,still new but again never really used it/them until now. I was going to/still want to start up a customized robotic business online... COVID hit,messed everything up,all most killed me. Took 2 years to feel well enough to learn my labtops again. But I am Learning how to use it for my 3d printers, teaching myself as much as possible and its going so slow...so slow.  Confused on the things I've read ..so I am here. How/what do I need to do to get started? Need to keep it simple please...but does HP labtops come with writing programs already on the laptop? What's free to use off and online,what programs does HP/HP x360 use or need to start writing books?what needs paid for etc... Just want something I can use offline and/or online. Mainly offline truthfully,need something that has everything from start to finish...like spelling corrections,spacing,book format etc...  Can someone please take the time to help me? I am willing to even pay for help. I am not rich money wise but a jack of all trades trying to better myself & make my families lives better as well as those around me as much as possible... PLEASE...any an all help is welcome...
