My keyboard has stopped working 2 to 3 weeks after upgrading to Windows 10. Kindly advise how I may reset the keyboard attachment, which is under the keys, please.

Hi,
On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to reinsert the zif connector.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04409502
You should check if the keyboard works at startup. If you press ESC can you enter startup menu? or even enter BIOS. If it does not work it is most likely a hardware issue and is reseating the cable does not work you might need to replace the Keyboard.
Let me know if you need further help,
David

Does the keyboard work before Windows loads such as to tap esc and enter the menu for startup options?
If so we have a software issue and if not we have a dead keyboard. If the Windows 10 upgrade were the cause of the issue it would have stopped immediately after the upgrade. Is the laptop still under HP warranty?
