I did not know @erico , thank you 😉

So @Jayden4 you can try to install your Linux distribution but not install a SSD. And maybe upgrade your RAM..

Hello, it is a very old laptop (15 years?).. So this option can improve your laptop but very lightly, and it is not necessary a good investment to buy an SSD for this laptop..

How much RAM have you in this PC?? And what processor?? You can know this by right clic on "my computer" and "properties".
And if you want to install an SSD you need check if you have been a SATA hard drive and not IDE.

A notebook that far back from the current  PC generation will not be compatible with an SSD. The BIOS wouldn't know what to do with it.

But I also have a nx6125 now I read online it says it's a  64 bit proccecor so i tried to install windows 10 but it came up with an error saying its 32 bit so is it 64 or 32 and if it's a 64 bit can I upgrade it to windows 10

The best processor possible in this PC is been only 32 bits:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/27597/intel-pentium-m-processor-770-2m-cache-2-...

Windows 10 exists in 32 bits but it is possible a missing function on your motherboard make impossible this installation, and if it is possible your PC may be very slow. What is your processor??

Can you please send me the link of the windows 10 32 bit software

HP Recommended

You can download this with the tool in the Microsoft site:

Download Windows 10 - microsoft.com

I don't find any illustration but you have a step you can choose x86 (32 bits).
