Good afternoon, I bought a laptop recently. In all respects, it suits me, except for one, it does not have a regular hard drive. How can I install it, where can I find a cable for connection?

Hi,

The cable part number L20324-001 is very difficult to find. You can perform an online search with part number

Example:

You would also need these parts:

Hard drive bracket                 part number L20325-001

Miscellaneous Kit (includes WLAN Mylar and hard drive cover Mylar)             part number L29160-001

 

Instead of buying these parts it probably would be cheaper (and it will be much faster) just to upgrade the M2 PCIe NVMe SSD which is in your notebook.

You could use something like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus which is considered the fastest or much slower and much cheaper Crucial P1. There is no limit to capacity.

Reinstall the OS on the SSD.ON page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:
