Hi, I am trying to order a new touch screen for my laptop and stores around me have not find any, I am trying to get one myself and take it to someone expert to install it, but I don't know the model of the screen, the model is
HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-ch0500sa (4J977EA)
The are asking me so many questions about FHD, number of pins? something like that, details of the exact model of my screen that I have no idea of, I have no way of opening my laptop myself without jeopardising leaving it completely useless, and the store that opened it just did that and told me they didn't have my model but didn't give me any details, is there a way to know what screen I need, the model?
If someone has already done it for this laptop or has information of the screen i might need, will be very much appreciate it.

Hi, Irene:
The screen specs indicate that it is FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution with touchscreen capability.
If you enter your notebook's serial number in the search window at the link below, it should provide the part number and description of the screen you need:
Chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual has the part numbers for the display panels.
The one that matches your PC's specs should be this one:
Full High Definition (FHD) antiglare, touch screen, UWVA HP part # M45769-001
