HP 250 G3 Notebook pc
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have purchased this laptop one and a half years ago and I am not able to figure out how to open the cd drive in this laptop as neither the cd tray does not have any button to do so nor the screen shows any icon to do so. So I would request you to please help me out with this.

HP 250 G3 is a series of MANY different models/products with MANY different options/combinations/configurations. Not all machines have Optical drive (CD/DVD or ODD drive).

If a machine which has ODD, it should have a button as shown

otherwise, it does not have ODD option, only a cover.

Regards.
