I have a question how do you open the HP laptop 15-bs1xx (without demolishing) for a system memory upgrade?

Yes,

Peel it back until you can reach the screws and just push back into place when finished.

Hi,

On page 45 of the service manual, you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover. There are screws under the rubber "feet" which you can peel back to get to.

Hope it helps,

Just a random quession make that upgrade me laptop faster like in Ghz???

HP Recommended

Hi. You're welcome.

No it will not make the computer faster in Ghz. It will allow for faster transfer of data needed by CPU in heavy applications. You already have 8GB so it might not make much difference unless you are using software which needs loads of RAM.

All the best,

David
