How to put a HDD in a HP Pavilion x360 m convertible 14m-cd0003dx

Hello, I have a spare HDD that I decided to put into my laptop for some extra storage. I have a connector that works and I checked to see if it fits. It fits, but there is nowhere to mount it, so I am wondering if there is something that I can buy to make the hard drive fit in there. I didn't want to superglue it or use double-sided tape to stick it on there because I think the glue might be heated too much and not stick properly which might damage the HDD. Thank You!

Yeah good call not supergluing it in. Here is the Service Manual:

You need this:

(4)Hard drive cable L18218-001

And this:

Hard drive rubber sleeve Full-featured models L18225-001

See pages 40-42 of the Manual for "how to". Not sure what cable you have but the specific cable to connect to the zif port on the motherboard is specific and proprietary so you need that specific one.

By model number it seems to be but looks different to me. Use the part numbers I gave and you cannot go wrong.
