I'm looking to remove the hard shell from the top of the laptop. As in, the part of the outer case that is face up when the laptop is closed. I'm looking to paint it and then reassemble it. I have found several videos of how to remove the bottom part of the shell, but not the top. I am looking to hydro dip the shell, so the shell cannot still contain any of the hardware, as I would have to submerge it in water. Literally just want to remove the plastic shell. I am ignorant when it comes to computer hardware, so I'd rather not have to do a lot of disconnecting/reconnecting things. Is this even possible without doing a ton of work? If so, could someone explain how/point me in the right direction (YouTube link, step by step, etc.)?

The top shell is quite different from bottom shell -it has  antenna wires, shielding, etc . The model is almost identical , shows you what top shell looks like and what it involves to remove it:

Looks like it's 15 - f305dx, not 15 - 1305dx. Sorry, hard to see
