HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13t-y0000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Friends,

I am one of the people affected by HP's deformed/swollen battery issue in my HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13t-y0000.

HP refused to replace deformed / swollen battery that lifted / bent keyboard and touchpad.

I purchased and installed a new battery of nearly $200. Now I can't seem to be able to remove the HP Battery Recall Utility HP had me install to validate the problem with the original battery. I get the message "HP CASL framework not installed" when I try to remove the HP Battery Recall Utility app from Windows settings menu.

How can I remove this software? With the new battery, there's no reason for me to keep it.

Many thanks for your thoughts, as always.

Let's uninstalled from the control panel battery recall app.

I cannot remove the app because I get a message that HP CASL framework is not installed when I click the uninstall button in the control panel
