Product: HP ENVY m6-n012dx Notebook PC

How to remove a device completely from HP Support Assistant?  I have successfully removed the device from My Device list, but HP Support Assistant continues to receive / display Updates and Messages under the Bell Alerts Icon in the upper left corner of the HP Support Assistant UI display.  These are both current and historical.  How do I stop the communications for the old device?

Welcome to HP Support Community. 

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

(a) Open HPSA,

(b) Select device you want to delete to open it,

(c) On the top menu,  it has a button on top right with a pencil in the icon.

(d) Clicking on it to brings up a window "Edit device information."

(e) In the bottom center it says "Remove this device." Click it.
