HP Notebook - 14-bp020nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP Notebook - 14-bp020nd fails to switch on and is no longer charging. It may have been exposed to a damp/moist environment. I want to take out the battery, but unsure how to. Can you please advise?

Would also appreciate any other tips to resolve the problem.

Hi,

On page 34of service manual you can see how to remove the battery. When removing bottom cover remember that there are screws under the rubber "foot".

You have checked that the ac adapter runs correctly.

You could also try a power reset
