Hi,

I have a problem with the keyboard keys due to coffee spillage, some of the keys are working while others are not. I dried the laptop and cleaned the damaged keys from top and bottom but it still doesn’t work. So, I used  HP Maintenance and Service Guide for Pavilion Notebook to removed all the internal components so I can clean the keyboard from inside using rubber alcohol.

The issue is I couldn’t find a way to remove the Keyboard from the Top Cover as you can see from the provided photo. Can you please give me a solution on how to achieve this or a better way to fix the unworking keyboard keys.

Thank you,

Samh

Top cover and keyboard ... are on ONE piece of hardware.
