I have a HP Pavilion 15cc563st with a standard HDD. I want to replace it with a SSD. I removed the three screws on the bottom near the front and was able to open the cover all the way to the back corners. But I cannot open the cover just to the outside of both screen hinges. It feels so tight that I’m concerned there are screws or some other way that it is attached and I don’t want to break anything.
Can anyone offer any assistance on how to open the cover at those areas ?
Thank you very much.

Slow down. You removed the bottom 3 screws and have now cranked up on the cover trying to get it off without removing the two screws under the rubber feet.
See pages 36-38. Careful removing the rubber feet. Don't stretch them or they will not fit back in the slots. Keep as much of the adhesive on them as you can and you may need to put just a drop or 2 of rubber cement in the channels for the feet when you reinstall them.
Good luck with the SSD upgrade and post back if you have any more questions.
